How to Update Customer and Wallet Status in Gobeller
In Gobeller, Customer Status and Wallet Status serve two different but important purposes in managing customer accounts.
Customer Status: A flag that controls whether a customer can log in to their account.
Wallet Status: Determines if transactions can be processed for a specific wallet.
If either setting is misconfigured, it can affect customer access or transaction processing. Here’s how to update both.
2
Navigate to the Customer Profile of the customer you want to update.
Click the Edit Details button at the top right of the profile page.
In the edit form, locate the Customer Status field.
Change the status as needed (e.g., Active, Suspended, etc.).
Click Save to apply the changes.
Tip: If the customer status is set to a restricted mode, the customer will not be able to log in.

2. Updating Wallet Status
Under the customer profile, go to the Wallets Bals tab.
From the wallet dropdown, select the wallet you want to update.
Click the Manage Wallet button.
Change the Wallet Status (e.g., Active, Inactive, Suspended) as required.
Adjust the Tier settings if needed—this determines the wallet’s transaction limits.
Save the changes.
Important:
A wallet that is not fully active or inactive will fail to process transactions.
The tier alongside the wallet status determines how much the wallet can send, receive, or hold.
Best Practices
Always confirm the customer’s KYC status before activating wallets.
If a customer is blocked for compliance reasons, ensure both their customer and wallet statuses reflect this.
Use the tier system wisely to prevent exceeding regulatory transaction limits.
