The Customer Settings section in the Gobeller admin dashboard empowers you to control what your users can access and experience within your platform. Whether you’re running a financial app or a digital service hub, these configurations are key to ensuring smooth onboarding, secure communication, and access control.

Enable Customer Login

  • Value: Yes/No

  • Purpose: Allows users to log into the app using their credentials.

  • Recommendation: Always set to Yes unless you’re operating a completely public-facing system.


Enable Customer Registration

  • Value: Yes/No

  • Purpose: Lets new users sign up through the app.

  • Best Use: Turn on for self-service platforms or B2C apps. Keep off for closed systems where admins manually onboard users.


Enable Wallet Transfer for Customers

  • Value: Yes/No

  • Purpose: Allows peer-to-peer transfers between wallets within the app.

  • Use Case: Suitable for fintech platforms, digital wallets, cooperatives, and marketplaces.


Enable Bank Transfer for Customers

  • Value: Yes/No

  • Purpose: Enables users to transfer funds to external bank accounts.

  • Caution: Ensure proper KYC and compliance checks before enabling.


Enable Customer SMS Notifications

  • Value: Yes/No

  • Purpose: Sends transaction alerts, confirmations, or updates via SMS.

  • Pro Tip: Keep enabled for financial operations. Make sure your preferred SMS provider is set correctly.


Preferred Customer SMS Provider

  • Value: e.g., Gobeller

  • Purpose: Determines which gateway is used for sending SMS notifications.

  • Action: Ensure the provider supports your target region and integrates well with your app.

    If you have provider: select and enter the credentials alongside your senderID.. which is your short business name .. it recommended to be one word and short.. max character of 11 ... eg: OPay


Enable Customer Account Name Prefix

  • Value: Yes/No

  • Purpose: Appends a prefix (e.g., your brand name) to customer account names.

  • Use Case: Helpful for managing sub-accounts or branded banking operations.


Enable Customer Email Notifications

  • Value: Yes/No

  • Tip: Works best alongside SMS for complete communication coverage.


Enable Customer OTP Notifications

  • Value: No

  • Purpose: Sends one-time passwords (OTPs) for login or transactions.
